As a photographer myself, I built The Lived In Creative Studio to be the kind of space I always wished I had access to. Warm, flexible, thoughtfully styled, and easy to step into with confidence minutes before a shoot starts.
I know what it feels like to juggle the client, light, nerves, timelines, and angles all at once. This space was designed to support you in that..not complicate it.
• Every room was designed to photograph beautifully from multiple angles — so you’re not stuck shooting in one corner.
• The furniture is intentionally moveable, so you can shift layouts quickly and create different looks in one booking. Seriously, move whatever..with care!
• Neutral foundations with personality layered in — so your client is the focus, not the set. While our studio does have a laid back meets bohemian meets mid century vibe, we’re not glued to one style. We hope you can use multiple pieces of furniture/props/and corners of our studio for a variety of client preferences.
• Plenty of breathing room for you to guide, adjust, and create without feeling cramped. (plus 9 foot ceilings)
Things I’m Most Proud Of
• The studio is brightest in the afternoon (especially for you natural light shooters) but you’ll have beautiful, workable light at any point in the day.
You’ll need to bring your own lighting equipment if you plan to use strobes or artificial light.
• I offer free drop-in tours — come scope out angles, test the light, and plan your session ahead of time.
• There’s plenty of parking right outside our doors and we’re located on a first level - no stairs, no sweat!
